Do men really prefer women w/long hair and do they prefer it up instead of down?

Just curious because 4 guys that I've dated in the past did not like it when I cut my hair and they also liked it when I wore my hair pinned up or in a pony tail. I'm wondering if a lot or most men prefer it that or if it just happened to be my 4 previous boyfriends.

hey girl i dont think you should worry about how to wear your hair because if a guy likes you he will appreciate you not because of your looks, hair, eyes ect...okay.just be yourself because it is possible that the guy is around because you are beautiful and because of your qualities.trust me on this one

As long as you look beautiful guys don't care. That's my experience anyway.

Can't tell you why, but I have always loved long hair, most men do. Of course, it looks better down.

Oddly, my spouse has short hair that really looks great!

The boys I know don't like hair that is too long and looks shaggy, and dirty. Styled hair is what they like best.

My boyfriend likes hair that is between chin length and shoulder length. He said it looks thicker and shinier, and prettier on women.

But each culture has their own standards. But most people like a good hair cut, whether its short, medium or long.

Shaggy hair is UGLY and looks unkept.

its preferrence, also it depends on what looks good on the girl. like some times i like it crapped up and pinned or sometimes i like it all wavy, preference. Find the look that looks rigfht to you, or have a friend (boy) tell you if its good

Long and down. Nothing is more sensuous than brushing a woman's hair. But, I also understand the trouble it takes to maintain that hair style.

i dont think that you should worry so much about how guys want your hair to look. do it however you want; and if they dont want to date you because of that, then they aren't really worth it.

Everyone likes different things. I personally can't stand hair up. I usually like long, but short suits some people better. But that's just me. Go with what you like, since you can't please everyone else.

Alot of guys like woman with long hair and will prefer them to leave it down but in some cases like when your sitting at the dinner table and eating you don't want to eat your hair so you have to put it up. Some like Woman with short hair it all depends on their taste.
