and i mean LONG hair. my hair goes down to the bottom of my back. ive wanted to get bangs for a while now but i havent gotten them yet because ive had long hair for FOREVER. and if i cut it...well i just dont know if side swept bangs will look good with long hair and if i happen to not like it then it would take a while to grow out. then what would i do?...but im TIRED of having boring long hair so i think ill do it anyway. i just want to know if itll look good. i also wanted to get long layers. would that look good with side bangs?

maybe you should cut your hair shoulder length.. cause i don't think it'll look good with extremely long hair.

I think you should get LONG layers put into your hair with the bangs. If your hair is all one length and just there, it might look wierd.

If you get LONG layers in there with the bangs, TOTALLY HOT.

If you do this make sure you say you want LONG layers, not just layers.

I think so! I have side-swept bangs but i have short hair!!!!! why not try cutting your hair to the middle of your back and making your bangs go down to your chin!

Do what I do - just comb it over so the reflection off your head is not so bad. I used to rub dirt on my head until I learned the side sweep trick. That reflection is a real pain in the keester! :(

long layers would give you a little shape and body ..the side swept bangs could be nicely added in..but dont let them get too short with those bangs..you might find bangs a nuisance after a long time with long sides.Think of that too.
