my hair is like 5 or 6 in. past my sholders and im gonna get it cut soon. im gonna get side banges((not the really short ones)) and im thinking of gettin layers but have the shortest layers a lil longer the my sides bangs((they will go to the the top on my ears)) do u think that would be ok sence my hair is kinda long?((and i dont wanna cut it any shorter then it already is))

it would be okay... but the best way to wear bangs and layers is to have your hair staightened then cut... cuz most people's hair start curving and going all over the place once it's layered...

yes it will be fine to do that. I used to do that when I had long hair. Just so you know, it will make your hair fuller. (thicker looking)

yes, tell your stylist to cut the hair at a 90 degree angle and you will get short layers

I would say that the best way to do that is to get layers all the way down. It will look great especially with the side bangs.
