Should I have short or long hair?

I'm a 29 yr old female and will be going back to work soon at a professional job. I am getting a LOT of silver hair...it is thick and long. Should I grow it more and cut it short??

If you are happy with the colour and don't feel the need to dye it to make yourself feel better I would go o'natural. It'll save you money from all the touch ups you'd have to do from getting roots yada yada. Plus the majority of people seem to dye their hair these days so at least you'll be original. As for the hair length if you like and suit it long keep it long just get it trimmed so that it looks neat and professional. On the other hand if you fancy a change and you have quite high cheek bones you should suit shorter hair as well. Last week I got my hair cut short into a bob from it being past my shoulders, so that was a whopping like 4-5" or something but I don't regret it. Shorter hair is A LOT easier to maintain so early morning starts wouldn't be as much of a hassle though if you have frizzy hair, unless you straighten it or something I wouldn't go too short in case it goes fro style. Luckily I have straight thick hair so I don't need to worry too much! Anywho hope I helped!

P.S. Also ask your hairdresser when you go in for the cut if they have any ideas for a new or cleaner cut look that would suit you. They're there to help 'cause it's what they're paid for, may as well use them to our advantage!

also they have good hair dye at the stores that are over the counter dye.

it works amazing on gray hair and also when you have to cover highlights.

because i had to get the blonde highlights out og my hairr and it works.

dont die it like the first person said, nothing wrong with gray hairs. plus once you die it you have to keep doing it or the roots look bad.

Cut it, you're going (back) to work soon. In a Professional job. It's getting Silver, thick and long and silver isn't for the professional world, you also might think about asking your harcare professional about color !

Leave your hair long and just dye it, I would try to do this as long as you could especially as you are only 29.

When it becomes a problem doing this then you can decide to have it all chopped off and grow old gracefully!

medium lenth .. just past ur sholders =] this way it can look profesional in a bun or pony taiil and wen ur going out u can hav it down =]

seems to me you need to dye your hair to cover up those silver beast k. now when you decide to cut your hair you dont decide on the thickness of and how long your hair is you look at two things one is the shape of your face round face should try to keep it med length ( so it dont make you more cubber then you appear) now with a sharp chin you can pull off anything like layer look great and med lenght and many more but try to say away from very long straight hair it very boring and it make the person look more tired then any thing.

now you also got to look at are you willing to spend the time in the bath room to style your hair the way you want if not you might want to go with a low maintance hair style keep it simple but if your willing to being in the bathroom for an hr or so then go for it get all the layers you want . i hope this helps.
