For those that say that ALL men love long hair, that's not exactly true. I know several men who prefer rather short hair, especially if it's kept well instead of ratty or stringy long hair.

Having said that, it's up to you.

I've had both really long hair and really short hair. I prefer mine to be medium/long with the longest layer in back around my shoulder blades and other layers much shorter.

It depends on a lot of things. How's your texture? Style? Face shape? How much time are you willing to put in on washing, conditioning, drying, styling, etc?

I dont like it when a girl has long hair and cuts it short. It usually means that she is changing her style which usually leads to a different attitude. I've seen it many times before and it almost always turned out bad for her.

It depends on how you get it cut short....how it looks long...the shape of your face, etc.

Some people look great with long hair if it is kept up (maintenance-wise) and healthy looking. Others look better with short.

I, personally, think it is easier to get a great look with short hair since it is more easily "shaped" to a style. Long hair, it seems, is harder to work with if left down because of its weight.

With that being said, I have pretty long hair that really wish I had the nerve to cut off...I am just wayyyy too emotionally attached to it.

Let's face it...hair becomes such a part of our identity!!!! :)

1.) Dont cut off ur hair.Men love long elagant hair and that would be a shame to cut ur hair off.

2.)Longer hair is hard to keep,but it shows ur body figure and short hair would subtract ur body and may make u look fatter.

3.) After having ur hair so long,u will probably have a whiter neck than when u would have short hair and then ur skin tone would look weird. It would be like having to different skin tones

i think to keep maintained long hairs is a very ough job i agree dat guys like long hairs

its does matters alot wats the quality of ur hairs if one is having fine stuff with shining and silky hairs one should never cut it down and one is having rough long hairs one should never keep it long. its better to cut rough long hairs short

i hv pretty long hairs touching my hips and i will never cut them untill my spouse will tell me cut them bcoz i've got so many complements for them

and this single reason is enuf to not to cut them

I use to have long hair cut it off real short now it is to my shoulders and trying to grow it out I will never cut my hair short again. But if you want to cut it go for it you may like it better for you.

You need to do what makes you happy and feel beautiful. Not what magazines or friends or TV shows tell you to do. If you like your long hair, then keep it. Grow it and cherish and enjoy it.

Long hair is elegant, ladylike, feminine, sexy and fun! You can wear it in a mulitude of different ways. And guys love long hair.

Long hair is also easy to take care of. If you are having a "bad hair day" you can put it in a elegant braid or updo and noone will ever be the wiser. You can't do that with short hair.

My advise? Keep your long, beautiful hair. Be an individual, not a cookie-cutter conformist. Anyone can run out and get a short, layered, flippy, fried, dyed, highlighted, flat ironed 'do. Only a few have what it takes to grow and maintain a spectacular head of gorgeous, long hair. Which are you?
