I feel bad for them too after they got so upset about getting their hair cut and they were told this is what it takes and then it doesn't take. I don't know why Tyra is an expert on hair either, maybe she's just on her power trip order people around; tell them what to do with their hair and make-up.

I feel what you are saying. Tyra should put herself in that predicament before she does it to others. Unlike her, the girls may feel insecure about how they look if changed. Some girls feel prettier with long hair, and then to cut it off like that hurts their self esteem in a way, because what may work for Tyra isn't them. It's like changing someone to something else. If she feels they have a strong look and can pull off long hair, then she should wait til they win the competition and if not, then don't bother at all.
