Short versus long hair?

Do you think heavy women look better with long hair or short hair? I think that heavy women look better with a clean, short, cute cut. Some people just like the long hair regardless of what the body type is. Does long hair make a heavy woman look frumpy? What do you think?

long hair can make any size woman look frumpy. If your short it tends to draw you down to the ground more. I do find most heavy women under 5'5'' with long hair look heavier and shorter than if they cut the hair to just above shoulders at least. Now, that doesn't mean shave your head either. Consider the side profile when making such a decision please! If your face is well rounded and your heaver you get double chins and then by cutting that hair off you have no safety zone. I find that a medium length and sometimes choppy to allow hight and movement works well on many heavier women. Adding color and highlights gives a great new look to this style as well. It draws the eyes up instead of straight to the roundness of ones body or chin area.

It really depends on the face shape. Pick the cut that looks best for the shape of your face, not based on your weight.

Depends on their face shape. I look best with long hair (it makes me look thinner!). Some women do look "frumpy" with long hair. It really depends on the face shape of the person.

I think it depends on how it's styled. Some heavier women look worse with short hair if it's not styled right.

Well I am a thick girl and I always liked my hair to be somewhat short. It looks REALLY cute in pigtails. When I moved back home, I met my current boyfriend, and he loooves my hair long. Wants my hair to keep growing longer. He says it looks really sexy. I always wear my hair up, so you can't tell how long it is sometimes, but when I wear it down, he comments on it everytime! Telling me I should wear it like this more often :) So I'll say long.

That depends. Heavier woman can pull off both styles as well as thin people. It really depends on their own personal habbits and upkeep. I've seen long hair look very beautiful on heavier woman and I've also seen long hair look ugly on thin woman. It depends on the person. However, I personally like short hair since there's not as much hassle with it (EI: people tying it to stuff....ect)

It depends in everyone personality, and the shape of the face, and what they like of course. Remember that something that's very helpful is that you feel ok with it.

It's true that short hair helps to some heavy woman, cause this makes less volume to your face. But sometimes, if you have a big head, then maybe the short hair would only make it more notourious.

Or if you are heavy but have a very thiny face, you can wear you hair long. I have a friend who is like that, and she looks great on long hair.

but if you've noticed that most women, as they get older have shorter hair.

i think it looks better to have it little past shoulder or higher... it doesnt matter if ur heavy or not... its all about who the person is.
