I want something like piecy or chunky. My sister says that the stuff I like is kinda punkish/emo. Any ideas are welcome. Oh and I'm a teenager so nothing to old ladish please.

Just a suggestion, but if you want to cut it short I'd suggest getting it cut short in a few haircuts instead of one.

I cut my hair from my upper stomach to just above my shoulders in one cut and have regretted it everyday since then.

Don't cut hair. Long hair is beautiful.My hair is down to the middle of my back and I cut of 1 inch. I regret cutting it every day. Even tho I still have long hair, I will never go back to short.
