Long hair and professionalism...?

How do you feel about women with long (middle of the back or waist length) straight hair in a business setting? Do you feel that if styled neatly, it can be acceptable?

PS- The hair is dark, healthy, well cut and well groomed

Long hair and professionalism...?

Much depends on the "business setting". Obviously, in a food service situation, your hair would be an issue, as well as it would be in a medical setting.

If appearance is the only issue, the call is yours. However, if your employer objects, expect the employer to find a way to terminate you on OTHER legal grounds.

Long hair and professionalism...?

I dont think its unprofessional. I do think hair that long is unattractive in a woman over a certain age...maybe 35.

Long hair and professionalism...?

nothing wrong with that. hell i have long hair middle of back well cut groomed nice. and ihave a great job no one says anything about it. and i'm a man.

Long hair and professionalism...?

As long as it is taken care of I think it's ok. If it tends to get in your face or anything I would just suggest pulling it back.

Long hair and professionalism...?

It shouldn't matter. If it does, you are working for a lousy company.

Long hair and professionalism...?

I see nothing wrong with that.

Long hair and professionalism...?

It's totally fine as long as it's neat

Long hair and professionalism...?

Yep ok with me as long as there profession is being a hooker

Long hair and professionalism...?

Women with long hair can achieve a professional look with a french braid or bun. It would be difficult to put that much hair up into any other style than a ponytail. A low ponytail fastened with a nice hair accessory would look professional.
